The Melissa Cardinals return to the field for Spring Game Day on Saturday, May 13 in preparation for the upcoming football season. The game is free to attend. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium with community tailgating beginning as early as 5:30 p.m. Spots are still open for the "Game Day Experience" with both the football and cheerleading programs. The Melissa High School theatre program will present two free shows on Friday, May 12 at the Melissa Arts Center, performing their award-winning UIL One-Act Play productions. The first show begins at 7 p.m. with “The Sweet Science of Bruising” performed by the Black Box Company (JV Theatre), followed by “A Monster Calls” performed by the Main Stage Company (Varsity Theatre).
