The Melissa High School Senior Walk for the Class of 2024 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28. The event will kick off at 8:30 a.m. at Sumeer Elementary, followed by stops at Willow Wood Elementary at 9:15 a.m., Harry McKillop Elementary at 10:00 a.m., and concluding at North Creek Elementary at 10:45 a.m.

Congratulations to the Melissa High School Tennis team for an outstanding season filled with remarkable victories and performances! Special recognition goes to Rylee Reddick, Cade Gentry, and Eddie Zeng for qualifying and competing in the UIL Regional Tennis Tournament. The MHS Varsity Tennis team won the Bi-District Championship in the fall and secured 47 medals this spring, with both boys and girls teams placing 3rd at Districts. Rylee Reddick was the girls singles District Runner-Up, while Cade Gentry and Eddie Zeng were District Champions in Boys Doubles, finishing 4th overall at Regionals with an impressive 42-2 doubles record. Kudos to our dedicated athletes and coaches!

Two Cardinal Track & Field athletes, Logan Tauch and Lincoln Dunn, competed in the UIL State Track & Field Meet on Friday, May 3, 2024. Dunn competed in the 100m race where he placed 6th with a time of 10.57. Tauch competed in two events, the 3200m race where he placed 7th with a time of 9:28.07 and the 1600m race where he placed 8th with a time of 4:26.33. Congratulations to these students and the entire Track & Field team for a great season!
