Melissa High School will be closed on Friday, November 21, due to staff and student absence considerations for the Varsity Football Playoff game in Wolfforth, Texas. MHS Students will have no school, and MHS staff will report for a teacher work day. All other Melissa ISD campuses will continue the school day as normal. Please see your email for more information.

Join us for food, fun, and spirit at Meet the Cardinals on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium! Gates open at 6 p.m. with the festivities starting at 6:30 p.m. The event features an introduction to our Cardinal athletic teams, cheerleaders, fine arts groups, and various student organizations, followed by student competitions, meet-and-greets, photo ops, and autograph signings.

The Mighty Cardinal Band will be featured in a special WFAA broadcast tonight as part of the Friday Night Football Marching Band Special, showcasing performances from across the 2024 season. The broadcast will include a rebroadcast of the Mighty Cardinal Band’s 2024 marching show, Pop Up. The Melissa High School musical theatre classes will present the Cardinal Cabaret on Thursday, April 17 at the Melissa Arts Center, featuring an evening of group numbers and solos. The performances will begin at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free. We hope to see you there!
