The Melissa High School robotics team will compete in the UIL BEST Robotics state tournament from Dec. 3-4, 2021 at the Comerica Center in Frisco. The tournament begins Friday, Dec. 3 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with booth/presentation judging and seeding matches. The competition continues Saturday, Dec. 4 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. with opening ceremonies, booth/presentation judging, championship matches, and awards ceremony. The Melissa High School Mighty Cardinal Band is state-bound! On Monday, Nov. 8, the community is invited to attend the Melissa Band Showcase and State Sendoff at Cardinal Stadium, where the band will perform a full run of this year's competition show, "Flight 2-0-2-1".
