Weather Update: School Open Friday, Jan. 30

After carefully evaluating weather and road conditions, Melissa ISD campuses will operate on a normal schedule for Friday, January 30, 2026. We ask that our community exercise extreme caution as we travel to school in the morning. Please be patient, drive slowly, extend grace to one another, and anticipate possible bus transportation delays.

Please join us in giving a big shout-out to our Transportation department for preparing the bus fleet for safe travel and to our Maintenance and Operations team for clearing campus parking lots and carpool areas with the help of equipment provided to us by Crossland Construction.

Take your time on the roads, travel safely, and we look forward to welcoming our Cardinals back to campus tomorrow!
