All Melissa ISD students are required to have parental consent in order to receive prevention education instruction in accordance with state legislation. Parents and guardians were sent a notice about this requirement and a link to a consent form in an email from the district on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. If you did not receive this information, please contact your student’s school or visit the news section of the Melissa ISD website/app.

Reminder: Picture Day for the Sixth Grade Center is tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022. Photo packages can be preordered online at www.shop.legacystudios.com using code 7256F23. Students who miss Picture Day can have their picture taken during Picture Retakes on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022.

If you plan to have your student ride the bus on Tuesday, you must complete the transportation registration form online by 11:59 p.m. this Sunday, Aug. 21. To learn more and access the form, visit this link: https://www.melissaisd.org/transportation. If you have not completed this form for the 2022-2023 school year, your student is not yet registered to ride the bus. We understand that there has been confusion regarding transportation registration, and we hope that this extended timeline is helpful for families in need of bus service.
