The Texas Education Agency (TEA) announced that final reporting will be delayed for all spring 2023 state assessments. This includes STAAR test results for grades 3-8 and end-of-course (EOC) exam results for Algebra I, English I, English II, Biology, and U.S. History. The Melissa Cardinals return to the field for Spring Game Day on Saturday, May 13 in preparation for the upcoming football season. The game is free to attend. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium with community tailgating beginning as early as 5:30 p.m. Spots are still open for the "Game Day Experience" with both the football and cheerleading programs.
