Join us for food, fun, and live music at Meet the Cardinals on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023 at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium! Gates open at 6 p.m. ahead of festivities starting at 6:30 p.m. All who plan to attend must adhere to the clear bag policy while inside the stadium.
An introduction to this year’s fall athletic teams, cheerleaders, band, and student organizations, Meet the Cardinals is a chance for our young Cardinals to meet-and-greet, take photos with, and get autographs from our Melissa High School student-athletes, performers, and leaders. Families are encouraged to bring their own Sharpie pens and items to have signed.
Meet the Cardinals will end with live music by local cover band, Sick Day with Ferris, starting at 8 p.m. For more detailed information, read the schedule of events below.
- 6 p.m. - Doors open. Food available for purchase at the concessions and Cardinal spirit wear and merchandise for sale.
- 6:30 p.m. - Meet the Cardinals featuring program introductions from all fall sports, band, cheerleading, and various student organizations.
- 7:15 - 7:45 p.m. - Meet-and-greet with the Melissa Cardinals, including autograph sessions and photo opportunities. Participants are encouraged to bring items to sign and a Sharpie.
- 8 p.m. - Live music by local cover band, Sick Day with Ferris.
