The Melissa Cardinals return to the field for Spring Game Day on Saturday, May 13 in preparation for the upcoming football season. The game is free to attend. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium with community tailgating beginning as early as 5:30 p.m. Spots are still open for the "Game Day Experience" with both the football and cheerleading programs. Melissa Middle School Parents/Guardians: As of 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24, the power is currently out at the Melissa Middle School campus and will be for an indefinite period of time. If it is an option for you, please pick up your student from school and keep them home today.

Melissa ISD will host the 13th annual Special Olympics track meet Thursday, March 24 at Cardinal Stadium, welcoming student-athletes from a number of area schools. Opening ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m. with track and field events starting at 10 a.m. We welcome the community to come out and cheer on our Cardinal athletes!
