The Barista Battles are officially underway at HOPE Coffee and we need you to go Vote Cardinals! Over the past four months, Melissa High School DECA seniors Tanusha Avula and Kanisha Muthukumar Kavitha have been applying the skills they’ve learned through DECA to a real world business partnership. Working alongside Melissa HOPE Coffee, they developed and executed marketing strategies that included exclusive discounts and special club events, giving students hands on experience in branding, promotion, and customer engagement.

Now it’s competition time. For the Barista Battles, four teams are competing for a permanent spot on the menu: our own MHS team, the Melissa Police Department, and two teams of HOPE Baristas. The Melissa High Schools team is bringing the viral Dubai Chocolate Mocha, available hot, frozen, or iced.

You can cast your vote by enjoying the Dubai Chocolate Mocha by Friday, February 6. The drink with the most orders will earn a permanent place on the menu, and the winning team will be featured on a special in store board.

Head to HOPE Coffee (2907 McKinney St, Suite 100), grab a Dubai Chocolate Mocha, and help MHS take the win! Go Cards!
