As Melissa ISD hosts the UIL Conference 5A Division II bi-district football playoff, the Melissa Cardinals will play one final varsity home game at Cardinal Stadium, signaling the end of a two-decade chapter of Friday night lights in the district’s first home stadium.
Melissa will face Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022 at Cardinal Stadium. Fans are invited to show up early at 7 p.m. to join Melissa ISD in celebrating the end of an era and the Melissa Cardinals’ bright future ahead at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium.

Ticket information is detailed below. To purchase tickets, visit the Melissa ISD ticketing website at www.melissaisd.org/tickets. Please note that a processing fee is added to all tickets purchased online.
- General admission tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7, and pricing is $10 for adults and $7 for students. At 12 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, general admission pricing increases to $12, both online and at the gate.
- THSCA, District, and Senior Citizen passes will be accepted.
- Reserved seating ticketholders will have the opportunity to purchase a $15 reserved seating ticket for the bi-district game beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 through Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m.; an email with further instructions will be sent from HomeTown Ticketing. Any unclaimed reserved seating tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
