The Melissa Education Foundation will host the second annual MEF Community Tailgate and Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 at the DougOut Sports Grill.
The cornhole tournament will begin at 10:30 a.m. with lunch to follow at 11 a.m. Meal tickets are available for $12 each and can be pre-purchased online by visiting this link. Team entry for tournament the costs $100 per team and there are four additional sponsorship tiers available, each featuring a variety of perks.
Those who aren’t participating in the cornhole tournament are invited to watch the teams compete. Players from the Melissa Cardinal varsity football team will be in attendance for meet-and-greets.
All proceeds from the cornhole tournament will support scholarships for graduating seniors at Melissa High School and grants for Melissa ISD teachers. The DougOut is located in the building next to the Z-Plex tennis courts at 3059 Champion Way, Melissa, TX 75454.
