Kick off your Sunday shoes and join Melissa High School Theatre for their production of Footloose: The Musical on November 5, 10, 12, and 14 at the Melissa Arts Center. All performances will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Footloose: The Musical is an energetic musical that explores the power of music, self-expression, and understanding. When Ren McCormack moves from Chicago to a small farming town where dancing is forbidden, he challenges local rules and inspires the community’s young people to speak up for what they believe in. As tensions rise between Ren and the town’s leaders, a heartfelt story unfolds about family, loss, and the importance of understanding different perspectives. Filled with memorable songs, high-energy choreography, and plenty of heart, Footloose celebrates the courage to challenge expectations and the power of a community coming together.
Tickets are $15.00 reserved seating tickets and $20.00 for premium seating tickets. Tickets are available now at www.melissaisd.org/theatre.
