The East Cardinal Middle School band program has started its first-ever summer band program! Every Thursday throughout the summer, 7th and 8th graders from East Cardinal meet to strengthen their musical and performance skills. These sessions are led by middle school and high school staff, as well as high school students.
Meanwhile, the Melissa High School band students have the same summer sessions on Tuesday nights. Many of these high school students dedicate their time to helping the younger Melissa band members build their skills.
These summer investments will pave the way for even more future success for the Melissa Band Program.
