Come watch the Melissa Cardinals football team in action on Spring Game Day at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium on Friday, May 15, 2026. Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. Fans are welcome to start tailgating outside the stadium at 5:00 p.m., and pre-game activities will begin at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free, concessions will be available for purchase, and fans can grab a free varsity game schedule poster while supplies last. A live broadcast of the Melissa Cardinals Spring Game will be available for those unable to attend in person. The pre-game show will begin at 7 p.m. (broadcast times may change). Video coverage will be provided by Melissa High School AV students, with audio commentary by the Melissa Cardinals Network. “Game Day Experience” by Football & Cheerleading
Sign your child up for the ultimate “Game Day Experience” with a varsity football player or cheerleader! Registration costs $50 per child and is open to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. A limited number of spots are available for both football and cheerleading, so register early. All proceeds from the “Game Day Experience” will benefit the football and cheerleading programs at Melissa High School.
The Football Game Day Experience will include running through the hype tunnel at game time with a Varsity player, standing on the sidelines with the team during the National Anthem, plus a meet-and-greet, autographs, and a photo-opportunity with the Varsity football players on the field after the game. Participants will receive a t-shirt, a mini football for signing, and a game schedule poster. To register, complete the Football Game Day Experience Form.
The Cheerleading Game Day Experience will include a t-shirt, a pregame meet-and-greet, photo ops, and autographs with the Varsity cheerleaders, plus running through the hype tunnel at game time and cheering from the sidelines for the first half of the game. Health & Wellness Fair
