Congratulations to the Melissa High School Wrestling teams for both earning the titles of District Champions at the UIL District Meet on Friday, Jan. 30.
The girls wrestling team qualified 13 girls for the Regional Meet with seven out of the 13 wrestlers earning individual district titles in their respective weight class. The boys took home seven individual district titles and qualified 11 for the Regional Meet.
The top finishers in each weight class qualify for the UIL 5A Regional Championships, which will be held Feb. 5-6 in College Station. Best of luck to our Cardinal Wrestling Teams as they continue their journey to the State Tournament!
