Over the course of the year, our elementary students have spent hours learning and training to compete at the District UIL Academic Meet. Every elementary school featured students competing in each event, facing off against peers in the same grade level. The UIL events encompassed a wide range of activities, including Art, Chess Puzzles, Creative Writing, Dictionary, Listening, Maps/Graphs/Charts, Music Memory, Number Sense, Oral Reading, Ready Writing, Social Studies, Spelling, and Storytelling.
Congratulations to all participants and awardees who competed in these events and a big thank you to all the UIL coaches for investing their time to help train our young Cardinals. The future is bright! Go Cardinals!
