Congratulations to the Melissa High School Girls Powerlifting Team for their remarkable performances at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association’s (THSWPA) Regional Meet. The team competed at the Regional Meet on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Prosper High School. Of the 12 girls competing, five were medalists in their respective weight class, with one qualifying for state.
Lorelai Thompson earned 2nd place in her weight class which qualified her for the THSWPA State Meet. The State Meet will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Comerica Center in Frisco, TX.
