Congratulations to the Melissa Middle School Theatre who took 2nd place at the UIL 5A Junior One-Act Play Contest on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024. The MMS Theatre performed The Boy Who Stole the Stars by Julian Wiles. “The Boy Who Stole The Stars” is a gripping story of how a grandfather and a grandson navigate through the grandfather’s onset of dementia. The MMS Theatre’s performance placed 2nd out of 8 schools. Be sure to save the date on May 7, 9, and 11 as they perform a musical, Newsies Jr.
