The Melissa High School Wrestling teams dominated the wrestling mats at the UIL State Meet on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024. The Melissa High School Boys Wrestling Team left the meet as the 2024 UIL Wrestling State Runner-Ups. With 10 wrestlers that qualified for competing in the State Meet, five of those wrestlers placed in their respective weight classes. Out of the five wrestlers who placed, the MHS Boys Wrestling Team ended the meet with two State Champions in their weight classes.
The MHS Girls Wrestling Team had three wrestlers that qualified to compete in the UIL State Meet. The MHS Girls Wrestling ended the meet with one State Runner-Up in their weight class.
