Congratulations to the Melissa High School Wrestling Teams for their outstanding performances at the UIL District Meet on Wednesday, Jan. 31. The boys brought home the team district title and the girls placed third overall.
The top four finishers in each weight class qualify for the UIL 5A Regional Championships, which will be held Feb. 9-10 at Anna High School. The girls wrestling team qualified all six girls for the Regional Meet with three out of the six wrestlers earning individual district titles in their respective weight class. The boys took home six individual district titles, qualifying 13 for the Regional Meet.
