Congratulations to Melissa High School Head Football Coach, Matt Nally, for being selected as the Dallas Cowboys Whataburger Coach of the Week. As part of his recognition, on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, Coach Nally was presented with a $2,000 grant for the Melissa Cardinal football program courtesy of Whataburger and the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Foundation. This award was presented in front of the Melissa Cardinal football team.
The Dallas Cowboys Whataburger Coach of the Week award acknowledges North Texas coaches for their outstanding leadership and the character they bring to the team, school, and community. Coach of the Week high school football experts selected Coach Nally because of the Melissa Cardinal’s continued success both on and off the field.
