The Melissa Cardinals will face Argyle in the first home varsity football game of the season this Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at the new Coach Kenny Deel Stadium. Kickoff will be at 8:00 p.m. with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets
Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance online at www.melissaisd.org/tickets. Student tickets are $4 and adults $6. Ticket prices (online and at the gate) increase to $8 for both students and adults at 12 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25. Tickets can be purchased at the gate with debit or credit card only. No cash.
Tailgating
The community is invited to partake in pregame tailgating no earlier than 5:30 p.m. in the official tailgating area, located outside Coach Kenny Deel Stadium. To view the tailgating map, visit www.melissaisd.org/tailgating.
Clear Bag Policy
All fans must adhere to the Melissa ISD Clear Bag Policy. There will be a security check at the gate upon entry. Please plan for waiting time at the security check. No outside food or drink will be allowed in the stadium.
Livestream
A livestream of the game will be available for those unable to attend. To watch and listen live, visit www.melissaisd.org/livestreaming. Livestreaming will begin with the pregame show at 7:30 p.m.
Traffic
Due to the anticipated large number of fans in attendance, the community is encouraged to carpool to the stadium to avoid traffic congestion when exiting the stadium at the conclusion of the game.
