As of 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24, Melissa ISD is experiencing a widespread internet outage as a result of the area storms, which is also impacting the functionality of all school phones. Staff across the district will have limited access to emails and phone calls during this time. The best way to contact your student's school on Friday is to visit the front office in-person. Thank you for your patience and understanding as the district awaits updates and a resolution from the internet provider.
Melissa Middle School parents and guardians were notified at around 8:30 a.m. on Friday morning that the power is out at that campus and will be for an indefinite period of time. If it is feasible, families are encouraged to pick up their Melissa Middle School student from school and keep them home today.
