Substitute Teaching
Qualifications
Requires high school diploma, highest degree completed, and/or teacher certification
Requires proof of right to work in the U.S. (i.e. social security card, current passport, driver license, permanent resident card)
Must be 18 years or older
Must be at least 25 years old to substitute at a Secondary school (6th-12th grade)
Strong classroom management skills, maintaining a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and implement lesson plans effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, and
parents
Patience and ability to handle diverse student needs
Adaptability, being flexible to adjust to different grades, subjects, and teaching styles

Pay
Note: The substitute teaching pay schedule is monthly. Please see the Monthly Payroll Schedule (coming soon) for pay dates.
Certified Teacher Substitute – $125
Degreed Substitute (Bachelors & Above) – $115
Non-Degreed Substitute – $100
Aide/Receptionist Roles – $100
Nurse (RN) – $150
