Professional Learning & Staff Training
This page outlines training requirements and supplemental professional development opportunities for Melissa ISD employees for the 2025-2026 school year. It is the responsibility of the employee to attend/view the required trainings assigned to them, and if applicable, pass the training assessment to earn a certificate of completion.
New Teacher Onboarding: Onboarding is the process of integrating a new teacher into the district and how it functions. It also prepares you to become an effective member of our Cardinal family. Please view the handout, 2025 New Teacher Onboarding Checklist, for all your need-to-knows. We are glad you have committed to Carrying the Banner!
