Becki Girouard has been hired by the Melissa Education Foundation (MEF) to serve as the Executive Director, bringing more than 20 years of development experience to the foundation which offers support to Melissa ISD students and staff by providing scholarships and grants. The Melissa Schools Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Wednesday, approving an increase in the pay rates for substitute teachers who serve at Melissa ISD.
