Congratulations to the Melissa High School Girls Powerlifting Team for their outstanding performances at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) Regional Meet.
The Girls Powerlifting Team competed on February 26, 2026, at Prosper High School in, finishing 2nd overall. Of the six athletes who competed, all six placed in their respective weight classes, with two qualifying for the THSWPA State Meet. Malia Griffin and Olivianna Robertson both earned Regional Runner-Ups and secured their bid to the state meet.
The THSWPA State Meet will take place on March 21, 2026, at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg.
