Food Drive Wrap Up

Students on all Melissa ISD campuses participated in the district's annual food drive this month. The food collected was brought together to support the Melissa Community Outreach Food Pantry. On Friday, Nov. 7, student representatives from each campus helped with the collection of the donated items. Altogether, students and families donated over 19,200 nonperishable food items.

Shout out to Sumeer Elementary! The campus brought in the largest number of items with a total of 4,877! The homeroom or advisory class from each campus that donated the most items will be treated to a special Breakfast with Birdie!

Way to go, Cardinals! Thank you for your generosity and support of our community.
