PSAT Testing October 8

Attention sophomores and juniors! Melissa High School will administer the PSAT/NMSQT on campus on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Seats are limited and will be offered to sophomores and juniors on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost to take the test is $20.

Students will receive an official registration email through their student email address containing a link to the registration form on September 3 at 4 p.m., when registration opens. Registration will remain open until Wednesday, September 10, at 4:00 p.m. or until all seats are filled. To learn more about the PSAT/NMSQT, visit www.satsuite.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt.

Payment details are available in the email sent to students. Registration is not considered complete until payment is received. Questions can be directed to Christina Stover at cstover@melissaisd.org.

Juniors: Taking the PSAT/NMSQT gives you an opportunity to qualify as a National Merit Scholar if you score in the top 1% in Texas. It's an extremely prestigious recognition. For more information on what it means to qualify as a National Merit Scholar, visit the National Merit Scholar website.

NOTE: This is a practice for the SAT. It does not replace the SAT or ACT for the purpose of college admissions.
