Questions:
Questions regarding the Academy Summer Camp can be directed to the program administrator, Maureen Kenney-Ashley, at theacademy@melissaisd.org.

This daycare is a private program and is not part of the public school system or subject to FAPE requirements. While we strive to include all children, we do not have the resources to provide specialized services or individualized supports beyond what is reasonable for a typical child care setting. We assess each child’s needs on a case-by-case basis to determine if we can make reasonable accommodations without fundamentally altering our program. Children should be able to use the restroom and eat independently, have functional communication, and be able to follow expectations and daily routines.
