Community Facility Rentals

Thank you for your interest in renting a Melissa ISD facility. Melissa ISD facilities are designated primarily for educational purposes and school-related activities. District facilities may also be used outside of school hours for meetings of students, district employees, school-affiliated organizations (i.e. PTO, booster clubs), community groups, and other organizations and for-profit groups.

Important Notes:

  • Melissa ISD only allows community use of district facilities as long as it does not interfere in any way with student education.

  • Programs composed of at least 75% district students will be given priority for community use of facilities over those that are not.

  • A representative of the non-school group or organization that wants to rent a district facility must submit an Application for Facility Use to the Melissa ISD facilities department at least 20 days prior to the desired date of use. For instructions on how to submit a request, refer to the instructions below.

  • Requests made in the summer (June – August) for the upcoming school year will not be processed until the school year begins; this allows ample time for campus calendars to be completed.

Schedule or Manage a Facility Rental

Melissa ISD uses an online scheduling platform, Event Manager, for community facility rentals. If you would like to rent a district facility, you will first need to create an account and an organization within the Event Manager portal by following the step-by-step scheduling instructions; this will serve as your Application for Facility Use.
