We are excited to announce our new modified block schedule for this school year. Although, there are pros and cons to any schedule, we feel this schedule will benefit our students the most, both academically and programmatically. The schedule works as follows:
- Our school day hours are 8:20 a.m. to 3:52 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Each day, five (5) class periods are offered.
- 1st period and 8th period meet every day.
- 2nd through 7th periods meet every other day.
- We will designate the alternating schedule with colors Red (A) and White (B) to help students remember which class periods will meet on a given day. See below:
Red Day (“A” Day):
- 1st Period (45 min.)
- 2nd Period (95 min.) *5 min. added for announcements
- Lunch
- 3rd Period (90 min.)
- 4th Period (90 min.)
- 8th Period (47 min.) *2 min. added for law requirement
White Day (“B” Day):
- 1st Period (45 min.)
- 5th Period (95 min.) *5 min. added for announcements
- Lunch
- 6th Period (90 min.)
- 7th Period (90 min.)
- 8th Period (47 min.) *2 min. added for law requirement
