Melissa ISD offices follow a modified schedule during the summer break from school. The standard summer office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with all offices closed on Fridays. Across the district, summer office hours take effect Monday, June 1, and normal office hours resume Monday, Aug. 3.
In addition to summer hours:
Early childhood education, elementary, SGC, and ECMS will be closed from June 16 through July 10, reopening with summer office hours on July 13.
The Melissa ISD Home Office and Melissa High School main office will be closed from June 24 through July 3, reopening with summer office hours on July 6.

The first day of the 2026-2027 school year is Thursday, Aug. 13. Online enrollment is open for students who are new to Melissa ISD. Visit www.melissaisd.org/enroll to begin New Student Enrollment. Registration for returning students opens online on July 15 at www.melissaisd.org/register.
