The Scholastic Book Fair is back at the Sumeer Elementary Library on Friday, March 6, and Monday, March 9, through Thursday, March 12, 2026! Book Fair hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, with special evening shopping on Thursday, March 12, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. during Portfolio Night.
During the school day, parents and guardians are invited to enjoy lunch with their student during their grade-level lunch period and then visit the Book Fair together during recess. Please note that students may not be pulled out of class to shop.
Can’t make it in person? Online shopping will be available from March 3-22. Every purchase, whether in person or online, directly supports the Sumeer Elementary Library. Find grade-level lunch and recess times, preview books, eWallet setup, and shop online at www.melissaisd.org/sesbookfair.
