Current 5th grade students and their parents are invited to join us for a Sixth Grade Welcome Night on Thursday, February 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Melissa Arts Center, located on the Melissa High School campus at 3030 Milrany Lane. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. The Welcome Night will provide families with important information about the Sixth Grade Center and the exciting opportunities that await students as they transition to sixth grade next year!
As students enter sixth grade, they will also have the opportunity to select elective courses to complete their academic schedule. An Elective Expo will be held on Wednesday, March 4, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Sixth Grade Center, located at 3150 Cardinal Dr. Students and parents will have the opportunity to explore the variety of electives and student clubs that are available next year at the Sixth Grade Center including Band, Art, Choir, Theatre, CTE, Innovative Design, Foreign Languages, American Sign Language and more.
