Verification of Enrollment and Attendance (VOE)

Melissa High School students and parents/guardians in need of a Verification of Enrollment and Attendance (VOE) must review the eligibility requirements and guidelines outlined below prior to submitting an online request.

A currently enrolled student seeking a driver’s license shall submit the Texas Department of Public Safety Verification of Enrollment and Attendance Form (VOE), signed by the parent, to the campus central office at least 10 days before it is needed. Melissa ISD will issue a VOE only if the student meets class credit or attendance requirements.

VOE Eligibility, Guidelines & Request Form

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. The school considers the student currently enrolled at the time the student applies for the VOE, and

  2. The school awarded the student credit for each class for the semester prior to the application for the VOE.

Guidelines:
In order for a VOE to be issued, the student must be currently enrolled AND meet one of the following qualifications:

  • Student met minimum attendance for class credit (90 Percent Rule) in each class the student was enrolled in during the semester.

  • Student received credit for all courses taken in the previous semester.

  • Student has complied with the conditions established by the school to receive the VOE form.
