Melissa High School Ruby Belles Drill Team Tryouts for the 2026-2027 school year are scheduled for March 23-27, open to students entering grades 9-12. Students who are interested in trying out for the drill team should make note of the important activity dates and requirements below.
Tryout Form: Students planning to try out must complete the tryout form by midnight of Friday, March 13 and have a parent or guardian sign the Tryout Packet, both of which can be found at www.melissaisd.org/dance.
Tryout Meetings & Prep Clinics: To learn and practice the tryout material, students can attend one or both of the optional Tryout Preps Clinics at 4:30-6:00 p.m. on February 25 or March 2 at the MHS Championship Studio. Both Tryout Meetings will also be held these days. It is highly encouraged for the student to attend one of the Tryout Meetings with their parent or guardian.
Tryouts: Tryouts will be held from March 23-27 at 6:15 p.m. until completion at the MHS Championship Studio.
Tryout results will be posted online at www.melissaisd.org/dance on Friday, March 27. The results can only be accessed by Melissa ISD students using their school email address.
