Students entering 7th grade are required to have a vaccine dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) and MCV (meningococcal conjugate). These two vaccines are commonly given on or around a person’s 11th birthday.
Melissa ISD will be offering a vaccine clinic on April 18, 2024, at the Melissa ISD Home Office for incoming seventh graders who have not yet received their state-required immunizations. There are a limited number of appointments available from 12-7 p.m. and participants must register in advance.
