Melissa High School’s 2018 Homecoming football game is Thursday, Sept. 20 at Cardinal Stadium where the Melissa Cardinals will face the Trinity Christian Cedar Hill Tigers.
On Wednesday, Sept. 19, join us for the second annual Melissa Homecoming Celebration. Community events include tailgating, a Homecoming Parade, and a pep rally. See the details below!

The community is invited to TAILGATE prior to the parade! The designated tailgating area is located north of Melissa Middle School on the east side of Cardinal Drive, up to Bexar Ave.
The community may begin tailgating no earlier than 5:00 p.m. Tailgating spots are on a first-come, first-served basis.

After tailgating, watch Melissa’s 2018 HOMECOMING PARADE, or join the parade with a float of your own!
Businesses, organizations, and clubs are invited to register a float for the parade. The top three decorated floats win a prize! This year’s Parade Theme is “Tame the Tigers!”.

The parade will begin at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Haskell, continue northeast on Cardinal, turn right onto Scott, left onto Barker, left onto Surrey, left onto Cardinal, and end in front of the middle school at Haskell.
Approximate parade distance is one mile.
Parade Grand Marshal
Ronny Williams, former football coach and athletic director at Melissa High School, will serve as the parade grand marshal.
Homecoming Princess & Prince
Ellie Puckett and Cannon Dittfurth will sit in the parade as Homecoming Princess and Homecoming Prince. Ellie and Cannon are Kindergarten students at Harry McKillop Elementary.

HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING DANCE

The Melissa High School HOMECOMING DANCE will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the Student Union. Tickets cost $20 per student and go on sale on Monday, Sept. 10. Click here for more details.
