The Melissa High School Theatre will be performing The Addams Family on November 4, 6, and 8 with a special pre-Halloween performance on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the Melissa Arts Center. All performances will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Enter a world where darkness meets delight in The Addams Family, a musical comedy by Andrew Lippa inspired by Charles Addams’ timeless creations. The story centers on Wednesday Addams, the princess of darkness, who has fallen for a “normal” young man from a picture-perfect family. When the Addams family hosts a dinner for the two families, Gomez must keep a secret from Morticia, leading to an evening of twisted hilarity and unexpected warmth. With its sharp wit, catchy tunes, and gothic charm, the show reminds us that every family, no matter how strange, has a little love and madness to share.
