The Melissa Cardinals invite the community to join us in honoring our senior athletes and fine arts students during two special Senior Night recognitions this fall. These evenings provide a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the dedication, growth, and memories our seniors have built throughout their time at Melissa High School.
Athletics Senior Night will be held on Friday, September 5, during the football game against Frisco High School at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium. This night will include recognition of seniors from our athletics program, including Athletic Training, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Tennis, Track & Field, and Powerlifting. Senior recognition for all other sports will take place during their individual seasons.
Later in the football season, Fine Arts Senior Night will be held on Friday, November 7, when the Cardinals take on Denison High School. This night will include recognition of seniors from our Fine Arts program, including Band, Choir, Color Guard, and Dance.
Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. Seniors and their parents will meet behind the scoreboard at 6:30 p.m. and enter through the south gate. Senior Night recognitions will begin at 7:00 p.m., prior to the game. Tickets must be purchased online at www.melissaisd.org/tickets.
Senior Night is a celebration of the lasting contributions these students have made, whether on the field, on the stage, or in the classroom. We invite the entire Cardinal community to come together in support of the Class of 2026 as we celebrate their achievements and look forward to the bright paths ahead.
