Coach Joey Majors has been with Melissa ISD for five years. He is a World Geography teacher and coaches Football and Powerlifting for Melissa High School.

Coach Majors has been in education for 14 years. Before joining Melissa ISD, he coached in Blue Ridge, Texas, and in his hometown of Waldron, Arkansas. Coach Majors is a University of Arkansas graduate.

Coach Majors has been married for five years and has one child. His wife is from McKinney, Texas, and is also a University of Arkansas graduate. Coach Majors feels that coaching is his calling. His goal is to help teach young athletes how to be leaders in today's world.

Coach Travis Pickup has been with Melissa ISD for eight years. He is a Spanish 2 teacher and coaches Football and Powerlifting for Melissa High School.

Before joining Melissa ISD, Coach Pickup completed his student teaching and coached at Timpanogos High School in Orem, Utah. Coach Pickup graduated from Allen High School before attending Utah Tech University on a football scholarship. He also served a 2-year mission trip to Mexico City. Coach Pickup graduated from Brigham Young University.

Coach Pickup has been married for 10 years and has three children. Coach Pickup views coaching as a special opportunity to help young individuals grow, not only as athletes but as people. For Coach Pickup, there's nothing quite like coaching.
