Stacy Needham has been selected to serve as an assistant principal at Melissa High School, beginning this fall, alongside assistant principal Matt Dickerson and principal Kenneth Wooten.
An educator for 18 years, Mrs. Needham joined Melissa Schools in 2018 as the Academic Dean of Special Education at Melissa High School and the following year became the Special Education Coordinator. As part of her new role, Mrs. Needham will continue to oversee the Special Education department at the high school campus.

I appreciate our school board, administration, and Mr. Wooten for entrusting me with this tremendous responsibility.”
Principal Kenneth Wooten added, “We’re excited for Mrs. Needham to take on this new chapter in her career. She’s a tremendous educator with vast knowledge, a solid work ethic, and a wonderful character. I look forward to seeing her add value to our students, staff, and community in this new role.”
