Join our community celebration of the Melissa High School Class of 2020! The community is invited to celebrate our seniors by watching the Senior Caravan Celebration on Saturday, May 23, 2020, beginning at 10:00 a.m., as the graduates travel by car through Melissa ISD neighborhoods.
Note: In the event of inclement weather, the caravan will be rescheduled. We hope to make that call by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Please look for updates on the senior website, as well as the Melissa ISD and Melissa High School social media accounts.
The caravan will travel through The Villages, Hunter’s Ridge, Liberty, and North Creek, and it will pass by Creek Crossing, Magnolia Ridge, Hunter’s Creek, and Brookside. (Note: Seniors will not be tossing candy or other items.)
This year, the Class of 2020 Senior Caravan is replacing the traditional Senior Walk at Melissa elementary schools. We encourage all Cardinal families – especially those with students in elementary school – to help celebrate the Class of 2020 by watching the caravan from their front lawn and cheering on this year’s graduating class, while maintaining a social distance from others and staying safe.
If your home is not located on the caravan route, you are invited to watch by parking your car along the route. Possible locations are along Cardinal Drive, Washington, Liberty, and Acacia.
The caravan route is 11 miles long and is expected to last approximately an hour. Please see below for a map of the route, as well as estimated arrival times.
