The Melissa High School PTO will sponsor a guest speaker from the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas following the general PTO meeting on Monday, Oct. 29.
Jennifer Huynh, the program director for the “Teens Can Survive” outreach program, will speak on mental health awareness with an emphasis on teenage suicide intervention.
The presentation is open to the public and will take place in the Student Union at Melissa High School. Members of the high school PTO will meet from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Huynh will begin her presentation immediately thereafter at approximately 7:00 p.m.
