Summer Meal Assistance: Apply for Curbside Meals

Melissa ISD will continue to offer free weekly curbside breakfast and lunch meals every Tuesday through July 21, 2020 for families who have completed the Summer Weekly Meal Application.

Weekly summer meals will include seven days’ worth of breakfast and lunch meals for each Melissa ISD student. The district can also serve meals to anyone in the household who is 18 years of age or younger. Delivery can be arranged for families who do not have available transportation.

Please email Melissa ISD at connect@melissaisd.org if you no longer need your weekly meals, or if you need to update your information at any time.

Apply for Curbside Meals

Please complete the online Curbside School Meal Application linked below to request meals for children in your household who are 18 years of age or younger. This information will help the district prepare to serve families in need of meal assistance in June and July.

Note: If your family received weekly meals during remote instruction, please re-apply to request meals during the summer.

Bring a large bag or box to carry the week’s worth of meals for your student(s), especially if you have more than one student in your household.

Instructions: Enter the drive-thru in the visitor parking lot, drive along the curb, and check in with an employee. Then, exit your car and walk over to the meal table to pick up your student’s meals, while maintaining six feet of distance between you and other people.
