Melissa ISD has launched a new district website and dedicated mobile app designed specifically for Melissa Schools.

The new district website features a more modern and accessible design. All districtwide information can be accessed from the main Melissa ISD website at www.melissaisd.org. In addition, each school has its own customized website, accessed from the “Schools” tab in the navigation menu, with information specific to the campus.

Navigating the New Website

  1. The new district and school websites are accessible at www.melissaisd.org from the top bar under the Schools tab dropdown.
  2. The navigation menu is accessible from the top bar in the Menu tab dropdown. The district website houses all districtwide information, while each school website houses information that is specific to the campus. Each website’s navigation menu looks a bit different.
  3. You can return to the main Melissa ISD website by clicking on Melissa ISD in the red bar at the top of every page.

Download the Melissa ISD App

In addition to the new district website, Melissa ISD now has a dedicated mobile app to help the community stay up-to-date with what’s happening on campus, right from a smartphone. The app is a simplified version of the new district website, with easy access to day-to-day highlights, upcoming events, cafeteria menus, and staff information.

The Melissa ISD app is available to download for free for Apple and Android devices by searching for “Melissa ISD” in the app store.

Districtwide & Schoolwide Alerts

In preparation for the 2021-2022 school year, Melissa ISD will transition away from using the Remind app for schoolwide and districtwide alerts; instead, those alerts will be sent directly to parents and guardians through email, SMS, and/or phone call.

  • Some teachers and programs may continue using the Remind app as an additional way to communicate directly with groups of students and parents/guardians.
  • The district will share more information about this transition in the coming months.
  • No action is needed from parents and guardians, aside from making sure that the school has updated contact information on file.

Report an Error

Our migration from the old website to the new Melissa ISD website and app is mostly complete. As we finalize this exciting transition, there may be some errors that pop up in our new online setup.

Website and app errors can be reported to the district using the Contact Form or by emailing Maddie Coe, Director of Communications, at maddiecoe@melissaisd.org.
