Melissa ISD has released the new attendance boundary lines for Harry McKillop Elementary, North Creek Elementary, and Willow Wood Elementary, which will take effect beginning with the 2021-2022 school year.
Elementary Boundary Map & Demographic Report
Davis Demographics, an independent demographer contracted by Melissa Schools, has provided a detailed interactive map of the Melissa ISD elementary school attendance boundary lines, which can be accessed from the Attendance & Zoning Boundaries page and/or by visiting www.melissaisd.org/zoning. The map allows families to input their home address to determine which school their child will attend.
Also available from Davis Demographics is a new demographic report that forecasts the projected attendance growth patterns for Melissa ISD over the next 10 years: Melissa ISD Demographic Study for 2021-2030.
The Melissa ISD elementary school attendance boundary lines are the result of collective and ongoing growth planning by the Melissa Schools administrative team, Davis Demographics, and the Melissa Schools Board of Trustees. The new boundary lines were finalized and approved at the school board meeting on May 10, 2021.

Bus Transportation
Melissa ISD students who reside outside of the two-mile radius of their school are eligible to receive bus transportation.
- Transportation routes for the 2021-2022 school year are expected to be finalized and published online in August.
- In order for an eligible student to receive bus service, a parent or guardian must visit the Transportation Registration page and complete the Student Transportation Request form.

Enrollment & Registration
Parents and guardians of students who are new to Melissa ISD can begin the New Student Enrollment process online at any time by visiting www.melissaisd.org/enroll.
Returning Student Registration will open online on July 12, 2021, for students already enrolled at Melissa Schools who will return in the fall. Additional information will be sent to parents and guardians later this month. Returning Student Registration can be completed online at www.melissaisd.org/register.
