Press Release: 2018-19 Student Transportation Zones Now Available

During the summer, specific route information for the 2018-19 school year will be released and rider registration will open.

New School Configuration

Beginning with the 2018-19 school year, Melissa Schools will consist of two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.

Spring 2018

Announce Elementary School Zoning

In March, the district will release school zoning information for Harry McKillop Elementary and North Creek Elementary. Zoning will be posted on this page.

Summer 2018

Move Into New Facilities

The Melissa Schools Move will take place during the district’s summer break – moving dates are still to be determined.

Melissa Ridge Intermediate School will transition into our two elementary schools. Harry McKillop Elementary, located at 3509 Liberty Way, will have a grade configuration of Pre-K – 5. North Creek Elementary, located at 4401 Cypress Drive, will also have a grade configuration of Pre-K – 5. The Melissa Ridge building will house The Academy after school program for both elementary schools.

The current middle school facility will undergo minor renovations. Melissa Middle School will move into what is currently the Melissa High School building at 3150 Cardinal Drive. Melissa High School will move into the new high school facility at 3030 Milrany Lane.

Community Involvement Opportunities

The community will have the opportunity to participate in moving activities for each campus. More information will be posted as it becomes available.

Registration & Enrollment Information

Registration and enrollment information for the 2018-19 school year is expected to be published on the district website in mid-May. Once available, you will find this information on the Enrollment & Registration page.
